Pizza Pub in Moneta

Our experience today was awful. We waited about 20 minutes for a table, it was busy, however people who just walked up were being seated and we were being ignored. We left and it was a waste of time as it took us an hour to get there. So glad our friends did not come with us this time. First time to ever have that happen and hope it will be the last. They will get one more try as service is usually good and customers who saw you standing there should have said take them rather than push to make sure they were seated first. Shame of staff and customers.

We came out for the 4th of July fireworks and decided that we would order some pizza while we were boating. A friend told us that the Pizza Pub was really good, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Smith Mountain Sampler, a Chicken Parmesan sub, a supreme and cheese pizza. The wait staff was very friendly. They were busy but that was to be expected due to the holiday. Food was fresh and hot! The BEST pizza that we have had!! Highly recommend you to stop by and try them out!! We will definitely be back!!

Pizza Pub is better than we expected, and we have gone back. There are many options for pizza on SML, and nothing really stands out. Pizza Pub struck us as low odds being in the middle of tourist heaven in Bridgewater Plaza. We have had pizza twice and a meatball sandwich, all quite good. The service is fast and friendly. Check out the deck in the back.

This is the best pizza on Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia. You can arrive by boat for pizza.

My wife and I have been here a few times and we love it! The owner and staff are friendly and very attentive to your every need. Also the food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Everything is cooked and prepared to order in a very timely manner. You can expect great service from a staff that really cares about customer service. If the Pizza Pub is a hidden gem to you then you need to discover it.

I have been coming here for years and I absolutely love the staff and food, but today seemed a little off. one of the managers decided to tell my friend and I that our service dogs are not allowed and demanded we sit outside while it is storming. She refused to let our service in the shop because of our dogs. I love this place, but management seems to be not so understanding or welcoming anymore.

Of all the food options at Bridgewater Plaza, this is our favorite.The menu is varied and they don't just have pizza. They also have a number of vegetarian options which is good for someone like me.We normally sit inside and the service is typically great.

We went in and sat down at a table. All of the employees were sitting at a table on their cell phones. We waited 15-20 minutes, not one of them came and asked us if we wanted anything. Then other customers commented on it and still nothing happened. We come to Bridgewater a lot and this wasn’t a pleasant experience. This would have been the second time we came there this week. The first experience was great I would have rated it a 5 all the way. The waitress was awesome.

The pizza was decent but the staff and location are nice. I got the pesto pizza and tried the red sauce pizza and will say that the pesto was definitely the better of the two.The arcade and ice cream is really close so that was a big plus as well. I would recommend for a semi-quick bite for a day out!

My friends and I were extremely disappointed. The crust tasted like burnt cardboard and the little bit of sauce there was had no flavor.

Very rude waitress. Spoke with the manager though and he was very polite and apologized, so changing my review.

Can't help but love this place. The folks here are always nice and the atmosphere is so relaxed. The pizza and beer are always good too.

Great pizza and great service

This is my favorite place to eat when my family and I come to SML. To be honest, this is my favorite place to get pizza, period. I especially enjoy coming during summer time so we can sit outside enjoy enjoy a view of the lake!

Some of the best pizza I've ever eaten!!!

We ordered from here yesterday and would say it was one of the worst pizzas we’ve had :( the garlic bread, was just bread, no garlic. The pizza was not flavorful at all either. 😔

We are locals and visit often in the on and off season. Great pizza and atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great location in Bridgewater Marina!

Pizza was good and staff were really great to me and my family.

The Pizza and the staff are great. We like the outdoor seating (weather permitting). The staff has always been VERY friendly and attentive. The Pizza and sandwiches are the best. If you are close to Bridge water area it is well worth it to stop in.

The only reason I'm giving this two stars instead of one is because my service was great. The food on the other hand was awful. We ordered vinegar fries and had to put the vinegar on the fries ourselves. After waiting 20 minutes for our pizza, it tasted just like it was a frozen grocery store pizza. Hardly any cheese and hard. The silverware is wrapped up fancy but is just plastic utensils and there was a dirty napkin under our table.

This is always a stop for us when at the lake. The pizza is typically very good. Folks in my family have tried non-pizza items and they were not impressed. If you order from here, make sure you eat on site so you can enjoy the views. I'd consider it too expensive for carryout.
